Escape to a Winter Wonderland in Canada
Club Med's first North American Mountain Resort, where sea and mountains meet, is located in the Charlevoix Region in Québec. The resort offers a ski experience that will impress even the most experienced skiers. Architecturally designed with a contemporary and traditional Canadian style, our Resort is perched in the heart of the region, immersed in the unspoiled natural landscape with amazing views of the St. Lawrence River. A wide array of activities are offered year-round to experience the region's ever-changing landscape, with each season with trails for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
With a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River, this new Resort offers a unique year-round experience for families, couples and groups of friends. It is the ideal place for your winter vacation thanks to its proximity to the slopes: enjoy the most spectacular skiing east of the Rockies.
Inspired by its environment, Club Med Quebec Charlevoix is built with locally sourced materials such as wood, stone and tile, in a modern style. It naturally follows the curves of the terrain, allowing as much natural light as possible and offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and river landscape.
With a view to preserving the ecological integrity and intrinsic beauty of the site, Club Med Québec Charlevoix wishes to obtain the Green Globe certification, a certification awarded when daily activities meet the strictest ecological standards. In addition, the Resort will partner with Solucycle, a company specializing in food waste management, to reduce its environmental footprint and implement a sustainable system that transforms waste into green energy or compost fertilizer. Club Med Québec Charlevoix also aims to obtain a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) construction certificate, attesting to the teams' determination to minimize its environmental impact. The Resort's buildings are thus designed to consume the least amount of energy possible.
