Punta Cana Dominican Republic

This was my 2nd Club Med stay-the first was Turquoise. I love the family atmosphere at this Punta Cana! There’s a fun waterpark that kids and adults can enjoy. Several pools including a “Zen Pool” for adults only. The food was good with a few gluten free options-that could be improved. There’s a separate vegan counter chef. The servers were helpful-quickly bringing water and offering wine-although English was limited for them-they were super nice and tried to help. There’s a nicer restaurant-you have to make a reservation at 9 am. It fills up every day. Would have liked to try it but we were only there 2 nights. Pickleball was fun-but the equipment is not in good shape-bring your own. Enjoyed the kayak excursion. Wish there was a snorkeling excursion included as well like Turquoise.
I love that this resort is a short 10 minute drive from the airport. Take an Uber for $10. Also ot note-for immigration -there’s an “eticket” that you can complete as you’re leaving. Wifi and website was a little difficult in the airport.

Nice place to go if you have young children, or if you come as a group of friends with teens.
Food is good, but redundant day after day. As the daily programs.

Typical Club Med hospitality. Enjoyed our stay. Food was good. Good, clean rooms. Nice people! Unfortunately, I now know why we got such a good deal for the date... the beach and ocean was pretty much unusable due to masses of seaweed. Still was able to learn how to sail, did some snorkeling, and learned to paddle board despite seaweed. Great bird-watching! Enjoyed the bocce ball! Great non-alcoholic drinks. Spent a lot of time in the pools and waterpark.
