Love club med

5/55/5 • 2025/11/13

Always a great experience at club med.

My mom hurt her knee and we were on the 2nd floor and they changed us rooms to a ground floor right away. The reception girls were so accommodating. I cant remember all their names. Except Ruth.

Snorkeling is always a must. The weather wouldn't allow it a few days but the days we went out Nico went with us. A few days they didn't have two instructors so they allowed only 15 people. Guests who didn't get in line early enough or tried cutting in line were not happy.

The chefs were fantastic. Jhon was all over the place. We would see him at breakfast at the main restaurant then be down at sharkies at happy hour and would see him in the main dining hall cooking and serving as well at dinner all in the same day. They also did a sushi class that was excellent.

The water sports were fun too and had some imformative people on sailing. We also went out kayaking. Didnt get to paddle board this time

The areial show on white night was aweome. Very talented circus team.

Will definitely be back

BRING YOUR TOILET TREATS!

5/55/5 • 2025/11/13

This place was amazing! I just wanted to clarify some things from previous reviews. 1) there are no bed bugs or mosquitoes...its sand fleas, nothing you can do about it; bring benedryl cream. Also, on the topic of insects...there are a TON of flies in the open air buffett which was super disappointing but also...unavoidable. 2) snorkling is a hot ticket event, but you need to wait in line an hour before, NOT the reccomended 30 minutes. its 15 people per instructor. morning sessions only have 1 instructor, weekends and afternoon sessions have 2. 3) BRING YOUR TOILETRIES! the pumps for soap and shampoo were broke in my room, and the conditioner, however lovely it smelled, didnt touch the tangles from the salt, wind and chlorine on my fine hair.

So now lets talk food...My husband and I are not what you would call "foodies" we have the palates of 12 year olds.
Breakfast was 100% perfect, so many options! Lunch was ok. Pasta, burgers, pizza (pizza was delicious and compariable to what we had in Rome). Dinner was dissapointing, LOTS of dishes that didnt even look appealing to us, lots of seafood which we dont eat but...duh...#location...we figured that going in. however the beef options made us joke that there was 1 cow on the island and they had to streach that sucker throughout the week. portions were TEENY, and the lines were long. BUT to be clear and fair...we by no means starved in any way possible.

Bar: 1) bring a tumbler they offer plastic glasses and drinks melt. There are self serve soda fountains and coffee machines available but unless its meal time, you are getting a paper cup.
2) This one REALLY stunned me. We arent huge drinkers, my husband actually doesnt drink at all. but there was an impressive list of mocktails and non-alcohol beer.

All in all this is the perfect place to unwind, reset, and relax (or not, with all the activities you definitely can stay busy ) as much as you want.

Really Special Place

5/55/5 • 2025/11/10

I just came back from a great vacation and am already planning another visit next year. The vibe and the kind of things that are included really set this place apart from typical resorts. Of Club Med resorts, this one is especially great, with a fabulous beach that is clean and not overcrowded. Food is plentiful, varied, and tasty and available pretty much all the time.

I particularly enjoyed taking a Hobie Cat out on Grace Bay frequently. The sailing crew was pleasant and helpful and keep the boats in good shape. They also offered rides and sailing lesson to the inexperienced.

One thing that sets this club apart is the circus school that teaches you to perform on the flying trapeze. The crew was really excellent at making is fun as well as safe. They also teach other skills when the weather doesn't permit the outdoor trapeze activity. Headed by Tom, who is a fantastic instructor, with his team Morgan (helpful, friendly, and skilled), Isa, Bella, and Geraldo, they made is easy to participate in this exciting activity.

There are lots of things for active people to do, including fun fitness classes, lots of yoga all day long, tennis, pickleball, watersports, twice-daily snorkel trips, and other things. Kyle, who managed the fitness team did a great job and was also a great performer in many of the evening shows. After the show there was always a party and dancing in the outdoor bar that went on into the late night, but amazingly did not disturb my sleep when I went to be earlier, even though my room was in the building closest to the main bar.

Overall, a great trip with lots to do along with long down-times at the beach!
