Taco Arte...a great place to eat dinner with family (20 plus extended members). Barbara was an excellent waitress and took care of everyone. The food is also excellent.

We had a great time on our first time at a club med resort. If you have kids the aguamarina building is definitely the place you want to be. It has its own family friendly pool, poolside bar with snacks, a little beach below the pool and 2 bedroom rooms. It's also close to the kids club, some rooms are literally in front of the kids club and the awesome kids water park, we were a little further down and took the golf cart/shuttles to the kids club and the closest restaurant which is Taco Arte but it was probably less than a 5 min walk. The food was good, lots of variety at the buffet and always different items every day so we never got tired of it. Taco Arte and Estancion are reservations only for dinner, they were decent but the food looked better than it tasted, we preferred the buffet at hacienda for dinner. Lots to do there like trapeze, archery, sailing, mini golf, snorkeling and a beautiful large main beach among other things. I highly suggest getting the kids into the kids club if you want some parents only time, they do a great job there and the kids are super happy at the end of the day. The kids also enjoyed the night time entertainment too. There is a family show or activities at 8:15 and a main show at 9:30.

The Circus Team of Adan, Margot, Silver, Aki, Pia, Remy & Sara are absolutely amazing. They went above & beyond in order to give my daughter the best experience with trapeze and made her week extra special! Can't express my gratitude enough.

This is the fifth time we came back to Club Med Cancún. We typically prefer luxury travel (which Club Med is not) but are always coming back due to the fantastic experience.

The room: we stayed at aquamarina. The rooms are very functional and offer fantastic views. The rooms can feel a little dated, you can find some black mold in a couple spots in the bathroom, the toilet might leak, however, staff is very responsive and will send someone to fix an issue promptly. Someone comes to clean the room every day and spend time putting it in order - I left tips but the money was not taken even when left in the sink unless there is a note. I left expensive valuables outside the safe in full display more than once and never had an issue. Cleaning staff is cordial and kind making it seem they enjoy working here.

The food: great selection of buffet food available with prime cuts of fish and meat available at most meals. Once during the week, they offer a more fancy meal, typically a white night where everyone wears white. We never encountered any food issues in any of our trips despite facing a problem at more exclusive resort in the area. They also hired a new pastry chef and desserts quality has improved again.

The service: exceptional service from all staff members. Tips are not expected, Club Med history as a French chain means their employees are better paid and French people visiting don’t tip. You can feel management is creating a strong culture across all teams and it’s nice to see familiar faces coming back (although club med enforces a rotation ensuring staff never become complacent).

The location: this is simply the best location possible, on one side the calm sea with a great sand beach and on the other the coral reefs. Best snorkeling spots in the area. They offer snorkeling gear and you simply swim from the beach to discover a very broad ecosystem. Compared to other locations, the quality of the coral reeds has stayed more constant in the last 10 years.

The kids activities: our kids love the kids club and the staff cares deeply to create great memories for the kids. They keep kids very active with activities like trapeze and pool. We have never found a better place for our kids and they come back with friends from all over the world.

The updates (nov. 25): they removed the tennis courts which were barely used before and always empty with 10 courts of pickleball. The club is completely full during Thanksgiving week but it’s still easy to get a spot and the court feel vibrant again.

The new water park is a great addition for kids although it’s surprising to see some rust marks on the stairs leading to the slides considering it just opened. The lack of light system to indicate if the slide is available is a major safety issue and an adult nearly collided with a kid in a major safety failure. Apparently, the adult didn’t understand the instructions. A single person at the top is not sufficient for safety, and I hope this is addressed promptly. I would advise parents not to let their children go on their own.

Updated kids club: the new facilities are greatly updated and have plenty of toys and activities available.

Our stay has been wonderful. Tonight we ate dinner at Taco Arte, and our server was Jesus. He did an excellent job making sure that we were taken care of and he genuinely cared that we were happy with our experience and meals.
