First Club Med Holiday but not the last

Just returned from our first Club Med holiday, and it was excellent. The resort, the facilities and the food, all absolutely excellent.
The only two things I would say is that there are a lot of stairs from top to bottom of the resort. There is a shuttle, but you certainly get your steps and stairs in!
The other thing, and it seems the same for all the rooms, is that the toilet is by the door of your room and the bathroom across the other side of the room. Not great for hand hygiene.
Overall, though we had such a great time I will definitely book another Club Med holiday.

Beautiful resort, great food — but be warned: French only

The setting is gorgeous and the food was excellent — genuinely one of the nicest properties we've stayed at. No complaints there at all.
However, we were caught off guard by how much this resort operates almost entirely in French. I had specifically asked customer service about this before booking, and wasn't told it would be such a heavily French-speaking environment. Staff spoke very little English, and other languages weren't really an option either. My kids speak four languages, but not French, so they couldn't really connect with the GOs or other children and ended up skipping the Teen Club and Kids Club altogether.
We also ran into a frustrating issue with the ATM on site — it never dispensed cash despite trying multiple times with the receptionist's help, yet the withdrawals were still deducted from our bank account. We're still waiting on that to be sorted out.
Nothing against Club Med or French culture at all — we've been to six Club Meds and always loved them. This one just felt like a fully French enclave, which is totally fine, but it would be great if they mentioned that upfront so guests can decide if it's the right fit for their family.
