The Mini Club staff are absolutely phenomenal. The day is packed with incredible activities which meant my kids didn't want to leave and the parents actually got a break!!The guy who plays Willy Wonka deserves a raise - he has so much energy, choreographs all these great shows, and makes it a phenomenal experience. The secret chocolate room is a fabulous surprise for the kids.

And I can't say enough good things about the food and drinks. Amazing bread, cheese, local fruit, homemade pizza and a wide variety to choose from.

Beautiful location too. Calm bay with palms on the beach creating lots of shade and the adults loved the Zen pool! Plus, lots of great sports for adults to try.

We had a couple of misses - the spa is the big one. I went for a facial and the lady didn't speak any English and I felt like it was the first time she had done the treatment. I speak Spanish so we figured it out but it's overpriced for poor service. Also most of the lockers are broken. I also booked a pedicure for my daughter and I as a treat. When we showed up they cancelled but nobody had tried to contact me and they weren't able to offer an alternative. We were in a La Perla room which costs extra and it was hard to get the mini-bar and snacks resupplied. Finally, the cleanliness of communal bathrooms - at the tennis courts and pools - could do with some attention. Even in the mornings they were dirty.

If they can fix the spa and a few service issues it would be total perfection. Either way, we will certainly be back!!

Our stay at Club Med was overall wonderful. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, and spacious.

The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and the activities were excellent — wing foiling with Yohan was fantastic.
Tennis with Jonathan in such well maintained courts were also highlights .

Entertainment was really fun and creative. Solid shows and performances, really fun music and atmosphere thanks to all the G.Os

The food was great. There was so much selection and variation of healthy tasty food . The staff at the restaurant and buffet were efficient and friendly.

However, the room service and reception could use improvement. Upon checking in our bags were delayed for a few hours before they were sent to our room.

Checking-in experience with Abi was a bit disappointing with a complete lack of follow up due to some issues with our room.
Response times were between slow and non-existent. For instance, our fridge was never ever refilled even after several requests. Our tv never worked either.
Our room keys were most of the time not working. Until the last day my 10 yo daughter discovered that they had to change the batteries in the lock .

Despite that, we had a great time and would recommend Club Med for its atmosphere, people, and energy — just hope to see better attention to service details next time.

Yes, it was an EXPERIENCE on club Med Miches. Great location, great atmosphere , great go's specialy Iara who help us on many issues. She surpasses the dominican smile ans that is something.

I spent a wonderful week at Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda! My first day 10/4/25 was their re-opening date after renovations. After the 1hr45min ground transfer from the airport, we were greeted at a beautiful reception. Everyone was super hospitable. Max from the sports team was very warm and friendly. Uriel the yoga instructor is very kind- be sure to check out one of his classes. I liked the aerial yoga very much!

The rooms are solid. Resort is large so be prepared to walk (or call buggies). We were in the Explorer Cave area for 6 nights and then upgraded to Archipelago, an oceanfront suite for $480 for the last night.

Several great options for food. I liked the breakfast buffet’s variety of options, the frappes at the Coffeehouse, and the Dominican options at Coco Plum. Some lunches were beachside bbqs. These were awesome! They also served fresh coconuts. For dinner, we alternated between Coco Plum (reserve a day in advance) and the buffet. Was very impressed by quality and presentation of food- ie: foie gras, tuna breakdown with caviar, beef Wellington. Bars were also good- 2 main menus- one at the main bar and coco plum bar, and a different one at the zen adult only pool. Brugal extra añejo is the best rum!

Loved the activities offered. My fave is trapeze, so I went daily. The team (Cooper, Mailys, Candela, Joel) was amazing and eager to help me improve. Their performances on Sun, Thur, Fri evenings were fantastic! Also enjoyed pickleball, wingfoiling, and dance lessons.

La Cave is their premium wine/spirit/cigar spot. They host a poker game Wed and Fri with a $50 buy-in. My BF won the game so we had a nice credit to spend there- did a private wine tasting with a somm (loved!) and tried some a la carte spirits as well.
The beach is lovely. Rooms provide bug spray, so use liberally. Overall an amazing experience and hope to be back soon!
