We want to go back!!

5/55/5 • 2025/07/07

We had an amazing time! We felt like VIPs since the moment we arrived. Everyone is extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our holiday enjoyable. We had stayed at La Pointe previously and was excited to try out Albion. Both resorts were excellent, but after this holiday I can certainly say that I prefer Albion. The service was impeccable (I'm not sure if it's partly because the resort had just opened again after renovations, I would love to return to see if the same energy will be kept up a year or two down the line).
The mini club was perfect for the kids (4,7,9 yrs old). They immensely enjoyed it there. There is a misconception that Albion does not cater for kids. The activities were superb - they had so many things for the kids to do. They absolutely LOVED the trapeze activities! La Pointe might be slightly more kid friendly than Albion in regards to the following aspects: they have a family pool area with a shallow end and splash fountains for the little ones which Albion does not have; and at La Pointe their evening shows for the kids were a bit more entertaining than at Albion. I assume it is because they did not have a lot of time to prepare/practice while the resort was closed for renovations and I am sure it will improve over time. Alice, Fifi, Rachel (and EVERYONE else, I just can't remember everyone's names) were great with the kids and made them feel right at home. Alice even remembered them from when she worked at La Pointe! They did not want to leave! I expected that they would want to spend some time with us and only go to the mini club for certain times, but I was wrong. They preferred to go for the whole day! And loved every minute of it.The GO's went out of their way to accommodate our kids and keep them happy and entertained. We loved the flexibility of dropping/collecting them whenever we pleased. Everything was easy and seamless. And with kids being the biggest critics: they loved it and want to go back as soon as possible.
The bartender at Alouda was amazing. He made the best cocktails and was always cheerful and friendly.
Gary, Ethan, Mihi and the rest of the GO's deserve a medal for their enthusiasm!

One slight annoyance was the poor quality of the wi-fi which was patchy throughout the resort. We could not always get good signal. But that didn't make us enjoy the resort any less.
Thank you for an amazing holiday! We can't wait to return and will try to stay a few days longer with our next visit.
